In contrast to the northern and westernmost point of Taiwan are the eastern and southernmost ones on the island. The other two are on the islands in the sea. As on the east coast of the Kenting National Park, the southern tip is dominated by coral reefs.
The walk to the southernmost point leads the visitor through a typical small forest with little, obliquely blown trees, and shrubs. Two small huts offer fresh coconuts and fruit to strengthen. The visitor center, now closed, has its best time behind and serves only as a photo-motif.
