The Shuilian Cave with the same hiking trail is located in the Lion’s Head National Park in Hsinchu. The trail is circular and winds through the tropical forest. Its name has the path hidden from the cave at the foot of a cliff behind a waterfall.
Lion’s Head Mountain was classified as a rural landscape area in 1993 and includes Lion’s Head Mountain, Emei Lake, Wuzhi Mountain and the Beipu Region. Lion’s Head Mountain has traditional Hakka culture and festive festivals. The agricultural and forest specialties include eastern beauty tea, persimmon cake, three pears, Hakka rice, Lei tea, and trout.
