Wushan is a prominent hill south of Hangzhou’s old town. The hill is surpassed by the pavilion named Cheng Huang, pavilion of the city god. The old temple of the city god once stood at the foot of this hill. The pavilion is huge and is a new building that was built in the 1990s. It has six floors with lift and excellent views of the West Lake and Hangzhou.
The Wushan Park is home to other attractions, including the Martyr Monument, several small pavilions, restaurants, and extensive hiking trails.
