Edward Youde Voliere - Edward Youde Aviary

Edward Youde Aviary, Hong Kong 2015

The Edward Youde Aviary in Hong Kong Park was opened to visitors in September 1992. The aviary was named after the governor of Hong Kong Edward Youde (1982 – 1986).

The aviary is traversed by a wooden footbridge, allowing visitors to observe the flying birds from different perspectives. Particularly at the feeding places, one can watch the exotic bird species in peace.

In addition to the birds, exotic plants, trees and flowers can also be seen here. The Botanical Gardens of Hong Kong are listed as UNESCO World Natural Heritage Sites.
