One of the exceptional attractions of the Sichon Khanom Coast is a school of rare pink dolphins living off the coast in the shallow waters of the Gulf. The pink dolphins are very rare, and they exist only in front of China’s southern coast. They are under strict protection of the government.
They belong to the Indo-Pacific Buckelfelfinen, which spread between South Africa, North Australia, and South China.
The animals are dyed dark gray in color and then change their complexion – from white (Australia) to pink (Thailand) to brighter gray tufts (South Africa).
