The James Bond Island, on Thai Ko Khao Ping Kan, is located in the middle of Phang Nga Bay. The rock pin was part of the island of Khao Phing Kan, but it was abandoned long ago. The island rises over 300 meters steeply and is perforated by caves, grottoes, and rugged rock cliffs, where the plants cling elegantly and with all their might.
The island has become famous through the James Bond film “The Man with the Golden Colt”. There, the villain (Christopher Lee) has his property and hiding. In the movie, the island and the beach look much bigger. In fact, the beach is only a few square meters.
