The Benjakiti Park is an oasis of peace and relaxation in the heart of Bangkok, offering a breathtaking view of the skyline. The well-kept parkland, with both forest and water areas, also awaits with a romantic lake in the middle of the metropolis.
The lake is lined with luminous bougainvillea cuttings. In the morning and the evening, joggers turn their rounds. During the day you have the park almost alone. A plank promenade leads directly along the water, in which many fish and water turtles swim.
The park was a gift from the King of Thailand to his wife, Queen Sirikit. On the occasion of the fifth anniversary, the queen was allowed to look forward to the wonderful park, for which she chose the name Benjakiti.
