The Palace of Klungkung is a historic building complex in Semarapura (Klungkung) on Bali in Indonesia. The palace was built at the end of the 17th century but mostly destroyed during the Dutch conquest of 1908 and the colonial period.
Today, the remains of the palace with the name Kertha Gosa Pavilion serve as a court seat; The main gate bears the date “Saka 1622” (AD 1700). Within the palace complex is also a swimming pavilion, the Bale Kambing, which was built in the 1940s. The descendants of the Rajas, who ruled before, live in the Puri Agung Palace, a residence in the west of the old palace built after 1929.
