The Mountain Villa of Secluded Beauty, Suzhou 2016

The Mountain Villa of Secluded Beauty is a garden located in the Embroidery Museum in Suzhou. In 1997 it was included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. The 2180-square-meter garden is built along a linear axis and is divided into three main elements: a grotto called Herbstberg (Autumn Hill), the Flying Snow Pool, filled by the spring of the same name (Flying Snow Spring) And the main hall.

The history of the Mountain Villa of Secluded Beauty dates back to the Jin Dynasty (265-420) when the Education Minister Wang Xun and his brother Wang Min donated their house to build the Jingde Temple.
