The Karo La is a high pass in the Lhagoi-Kangri chain of the northern Himalaya on the border of the circles of Narkatse and Gyantse in Tibet.
The western ascent follows the Ngungtan, eastward the ascent from Yamdrok Lake. Just north of Karu La or Karuo La, the kargo glacier of the Noijinkangsang is located just to the north of the pass, the only slightly glaciated Jitan Zhoma (6,004 m). The Karol La itself is located at about 5200 meters and covers an area of almost 10 km².
