The Five Great Avenues, in Chinese Wudadao, are a tourist area, as well as a high-priced residential area in the Heping District, Tianjin. The Wudadao are located in the south of the center and composed of parallel roads from east to west. The streets are named after five Chinese cities of the Southwest: Chongqing, Changde, Dali, Munan, and Machang.
There are over 230 buildings in all styles of architecture from England, France, Italy, Germany, and Spain. Over 50 houses are inhabited by celebrities. The colorful architectural styles range from Renaissance, Greek and Gothic to Romanesque and eclectic.
